A Writers' Circle Week 2015

“Christine fizzes with enthusiasm as she shares the magical place she calls home with writers, who cannot fail but to leave inspired, soothed, educated and just a little in love with the Gara Valley.

In 2015 I introduced a bunch of writers from my Writers’ Circle to the Watermill ... a fabulous few days  ... we all left motivated and refreshed.”

Jo Parfitt, Publisher, Kuala Lumpur, The Hague and Stamford, Lincs. 2017

Slow Nature Wild Words A Residential Writing Weekend in partnership with Left Bank Writers at Watermill Cottages, November 2013

‘’Finding Christine's wonderful farm in a hamlet deep down in a Devon valley was the first adventure - then it opened out to reveal beautiful cottages and a very warm welcome.

Christine was warm, welcoming and highly professional in facilitating the workshops and group activities - we did some interesting and stimulating writing, enhanced by walks within the grounds of Watermill Cottages and the convivial company of the rest of the group.

The bonfire in the evening and guitar playing by John whilst imbibing homemade cider under a full moon made for a magical experience.

This was a very special writing course, much enjoyed and treasured.’’

Gill Garratt, Author of CBT For Work (Icon); CBT at Work For Dummies (Wiley); Your Dog and You - Understanding the Canine Psyche (Veloce).

It gave delegates ...

‘... inspirations, confidence in writing.  A romantic dream come true.

‘... the impetus and courage and imagination to write that book... and to trust my creativity'

‘... a playfulness and more daring attitude towards words and writing.’

Setting
