Explore your creativity and discover how to edit your work ready for feedback or print on a residential, fully catered, writing workshop weekend in the heart of a literary landscape.
A three nights in a room of your own at historic Watermill Cottages in the stunning coastal Gara Valley between Dartmouth and Kingsbridge in South Devon's AONB. Nestled in a secret valley below the hamlet of Hansel, near Slapton, you're a world away from modern life. A cosy, old, stone cottage by an 18thC former watermill and stream on a 20 acre smallholding. Meals lovingly prepared using organic standard local ingredients, home-grown where possible. Log fires with wood from our own coppice.
And space to relax and explore your creativity far from the madding crowd in a landscape that's inspired poets, writers and artists like Jack Butler Yeats, John Masefield and a member of the Bloomsbury set.
There are just eight places. Reserve yours by emailing Christine using the form below. See writing workshops for more details, biographies, prices and testimonials from previous delegates.
